I decided to keep my Poila Boisakh recommendation short and exclusive this year – a short and comprehensive list to splurge on this season. The curation was made after a good deal of thought, and accommodates lunches, hi-tea scenes, and dinner for the Bengali New Year. I don’t need to tell people about 6 Ballygunge Place, as it remains one of my favourite places to go for a good meal.

Traditional Bengali cuisine from rural Bengal, “Gramin Aahar” will be presented at Onyx. Revisit the roots of Bengal with dishes prepared from special organic ingredients. Lunch and Dinner Buffet at ONYX starts at INR 899/- + Tax, on 14th & 15th.
