Recently, Indian Terrain, one of India’s leading men’s apparel brands in the country, launched its exclusive brand store in Kolkata. The store is located at Woodburn Central, Wood Burn Park, Kolkata and Randeep Hooda along with Venky Rajagopal, Chairman & Managing Director of the brand, was present for the event. I attended the event, got mesmerized by Mr. Hooda, and checked out the store.
Keeping in mind the ongoing high summer, the brand has clothes which are made of materials both breathable and light, and absolutely perfect for men. The brand prides itself on its earthy, masculine tones, and the clothes which are perfect for both casual and formal affairs.
The brand also has a nice range of summer-friendly Khakis, which are great for wearing for a casual outing. I loved the stretch factor – the material seemed light but sturdy, and perfect for the great outdoors. The brand has a great range of clothes for both men and boys, and you can pick something from their rather impressive collection. They are also experimenting with colours, and apart from blue, they now have some great clothes in shades of oranges, earthy browns and greens.
The concept behind the brand is in providing Indian men clothes which are reminiscent of the basic, earthy nature of man, and who better to represent that but Randeep Hooda, who is definitely the epitome of masculinity.
Hosted by RJ Shelee, the store launch was a grand success, with a lovely wine and cheese party afterwards, hosted by Nina Saxer, and featuring a number of popular names from Kolkata, including Pranay Baidya, Indroneel Mukherjee, Ushoshi Sengupta and a number of known faces from the hospitality industry of Kolkata.
I leave you with another photo of the man, just because.
Disclaimer: Poorna Banerjee was invited to the event by the brand.
