The Summer Range of Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color:
The seven lip colours I will be discussing are as follows:
Pink Tint: A really nice peachy pink that looks great on fair to medium skin tone (Up to MAC NC 42, if I may say so).
Caramel Custard: True to its name, this is a light caramel shade, and probably my favourite shade of the lot. It will suit anyone from fair to medium tan (up to NC 45) skin tone
Mauve It: This is a soft mauve-y pink that will suit anyone from fair to medium skin tone.
Soft Beige: Beige-peach, that’s the only way I can describe this shade. I wanted this shade to work for me, but its actually slightly lighter than i would like it on my lips.
Juicy Plum: The first of the three darker shades, this one is a dark plum that looks glorious on virtually any skin tone.
Burnt Brown: A good, solid brown, suitable for any skin tone.
Crimson Silk: Rich, warm red that settles into a slightly darker shade than shown.
I love these lipsticks in general. They are very hydrating, keeps my lips soft, and are kind to my lips in general. Yes, they are not very long lasting if you eat and drink, and they DO transfer and bleed, but if you like hydrating lipsticks this would be your new best friend. The first four shades as well as Burnt Brown can be great for day wear, while Crimson Silk and Juicy Plum, I feel, are more glamorous shades. The best part is, you would mostly get these at a discount, and I really like the hydrating formula that protects my lips during the hot summer months.
