My Pujo began with Fish Batter Fry (or Fish Butter Fry, as it is otherwise known) at The New My Club, Gariahat. The fish was fresh, moist, flaky and buttery. The batter was unlike most oily batters, a delightfully thin, crunchy one with virtually no oil on it. I ate it with the sharp mustard sauce it comes with and thin slices of onions and cucumber.
