Michelin Star restaurant Yauatcha has launched a special Christmas menu this season, with their newly launched bar. One of the best places to grab some nice dim sums with a glass of well-shaken cocktail, this is one of the hottest joints of Kolkata, which currently is offering a set menu at 1500/- (plus tax), and with two drinks, the price is 2500/- (plus tax).
The set menu offers a wide range of dim sums, stir fries, noodles, soups, and incredible desserts (I particularly love the Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse here) for you to select from, and a Lychee or Ginger Martini, whichever you choose. I have my eyes on the Chicken Char Siu Bun as well as the Shiitake Mushroom Dumpling (from the dim sum range), the Braised Chicken Clay Pot, as well as the Crispy Lamb with Mango (from the stir fries menu).
Yauatcha offers a lovely al fresco style dining experience, and the service is laid back and nice. Do check it out if you want a slightly unusual but wonderful Christmas dining experience.
