Breakfast for Lunch, Dinner, and Snack Time! |
It is an all day all night affair for me. Here’s what I had the other day, around three o’clock in the afternoon. This is one of those things that rarely needs a recipe; it’s more of a common sense thing.
Local Spicy Pork Salami, frying gently in a pat of butter. Yes, BUTTER. |
One egg, Sunny Side Up, Joins aforementioned Salami. |
Frying a fat slice of locally made bread in the rendered buttery pan juices and then plating everything up together. |

It is. Trust me.
omg that's divine!
😛
Totally get this, P. We'd eat breakfast anytime too, especially if it comes with salami toasted in butter 🙂
it is locally made salami and comes cut the way you like it. I like frying it because a beautiful smoky buttery flavor is imparted all over the salami. Try frying it in butter, but what's best is to make your own salami at home and then frying it in patty form in hot butter. 😀 bliss.
I've never fried salami but that looks absolutely great.
Not a very thick cut, I see. Do you ever experiment with that or is it fairly static?
Its not a surprise. Most people nowadays faint at the sight of butter. 😀
Completely share the breakfast love! I ate breakfasty things from Flury's for a late lunch today and was deeply contented. 😀
And why's salami fried in butter such a surprise? I always fry mine in butter.
of course!!
love the look of that…..pity i dont eat pork…. can be done with chicken salami !!!
