What The Body Shop Says about the Product
My Experience Using The Body Shop Oils Of Life Sleeping Cream
I started using The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Sleeping Cream a month and a half back, but I immediately broke out, and stopped using it for a while. It was probably a combination between hormonal imbalance, bad weather, and my general outlook of life. But well, I decided to give it another shot a couple of weeks ago, when my skin was feeling dry and in need of serious nourishment, and I used this with a couple of other products from The Body Shop, and this time, it worked quite well.
The cream is not too thick, but it absorbs slowly onto my skin. It doesn’t get absorbed immediately, so skin feels quite moist and I don’t mind it because with the approaching winter, my skin will tend to get drier and would need all the protection it can get. I have a nightly ritual – I start by cleansing and toning, follow it up with a rather interesting serum, and end with this cream. Over the last two weeks, I have not observed any breakouts or issues, and my skin definitely feels much more plump and hydrated, without being too oily.
I have also noticed a reduction in the size of the pores, and skin feels much softer to touch, which is great for my skin which is no longer in its 20s. I also have noticed that my skin looks glowing and fresh in the morning, and that’s an added boost. The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream is definitely not cheap, but it really helps moisturize my skin well, and reduces the signs of ageing. I think this can be a great option for those who want a cream for their dry to normal ageing skin, but oily skinned beauties as well as those with sensitive skin, you should definitely try this out before you buy.
