What I Felt about The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
The product comes in a round, heavy glass package, which is quite nice to look at, and has a spatula inside. I love products which have it – I have slight hygiene issues about what goes on my face, and prefer picking packs and other stuff up with spatulas if they come in a round, open containers. The texture of this product is strange – reminds me of vanilla pudding. The smell is… to be honest… strange, and slightly alkaline, but quite relaxing. I am assuming that is the Edelweiss.
Scoop a bit of it and warm it up between your palms before applying. The product is slightly sticky, and won’t get absorbed easily. If you have a problem with that, use less. Then, go to sleep, because this needs to be absorbed. I generally wash it off in the morning, and then apply The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate. Also, I do not use the mask every day. I have been using it twice or thrice a week, depending on my needs.
How to use bouncy sleeping mask? |
Okay, so what I think is an absolute win for this product is the fact that it actually makes my skin look plump and nourished in the morning. I have dry patches around my mouth and nose, where my skin actually tends to peel off during summer. I have been using this all summer, and I am happy to report, no such issues! Also, no breakouts have been spotted due to this, so that’s a good thing too. Although I am not much of a fan of the scent, it sort of has grown on me.
As for the quantity needed, you need just a little bit per use, so I am assuming this particular product will last me another couple of months at least! Yes, it is more expensive than many other products, but, for my skin this works well. It really nourishes my skin without clogging pores. I have noticed that the pores on my face have reduced, although it doesn’t do anything for pimples, for which my trusty The Body Shop Tea Tree Lotion is sufficient for now.
I am over 30, and this is a great sleeping mask for ageing skin, because the one thing I absolutely love about The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask is the fact that its really hydrating. My skin is firmer, and has a lovely glow to it although I am stressed out like anything, thanks to all the travelling I am doing.
