If you guys follow me on Instagram (@panushwari), then you would know, I have recently returned from Thailand, where I was pretty much staying at the beach with C, chilling out under the sun, sipping strawberry cider and basically having an epic time. And yes, that means, when I returned, I had the most awful tan which even my VLCC sunscreen with SPF 50 could not prevent.
So I returned and used this not just all over my face, but also all over my arms and shoulder, because yes, the tan was extensive.
What Himalaya has to Say:
Himalaya Tan Removal Orange Peel-Off Mask is an effective blend of the natural skin lightening extracts of Orange Peel and Honey which help reduce skin tan from the very first use. Orange Peel works to control melanin synthesis with the peeling action helping to remove skin tan and lightening the skin tone. Honey soothes and moisturizes skin.
This pack smells of oranges, and is basically a orange gel-like product that you smooth onto your skin, let dry, and then peel off. I used this all over my face and upper body, and it took around 20 minutes for it to completely dry off. By that time, I was feeling like a mummy, but well, you make sacrifices for beauty.
The pack smells rather nice, although might be overpowering slightly for those who have sensitive nose. I didn’t, so yay for me! Once dried, I peeled off the pack from my skin, and I could see that my skin looked much more tighter and cleaner. It didn’t really show its effect in the first couple of uses, but after a couple of weeks or so (I used this once every three days), I did see a change in my skin – it looked cleaner and felt slightly lighter afterwards and it did work on dark tan, especially on the skin of my arms and back.
I would recommend this pack to those who have a tan and would like to reduce it. This is a safe, easy to use product which can remove it in time. Don’t expect instant miracles, though – this takes time.
