Okay, this is a rather large compilation, and I am going to be exhausted by the end of it, but here goes a comprehensive list of a lot of places which are celebrating Poila Boishakh this year. Incidentally, its on April 14, 2016, and I also have some understanding that some places are doing fun festivals, like Baisakhi and Sangkranti. And, as always, this list is meant for everyone, so check it out! It is a good idea to book ahead, btw.

Daab Chingri

The Square, Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences will celebrate Poila Boishakh from April 13- 16, 2016, for Lunch buffet- 12:30-3:30pm, and Dinner Buffet- 7:00-10:30pm at INR 1423/- +taxes. The menu includes Kochi pathar jhol, Chitol macher peti, Dab chingri, Sorshe ilish, murgir pulao, pabda macher jhal, channar kalia, phulkopir bati chor chori, dhokar dalna, Potoler dolma, Nolen Gur Cream Caramel, Mishti Doi, Rajbhog, Nolen Gur Jol Bhora Sandesh, and Nolen Gur & Malpua Cheese Cake.
