A basic move to demonstrate an arm lock. |
This post is on behalf of my friend who is running free Self Defense classes through which she intends to reach out to 1 million people in the near future. The next class is on Sunday, 17th February, 2013, and I am going to post a few pictures which will give you guys a general idea about the class.
I have already attended one class, and I intend to attend another one as soon as possible. At the class you would also find Pepper Spray being sold at a very reasonable rate of 30/- per bottle.

“Continuing with our series of free weekly self-defense classes as part of the 1Million Against Child/Adult Sexual Abuse Campaign, this session will take place on a SUNDAY !
Those of you who requested a Sunday lesson had better show up 🙂 !
We will be focussing on basic and intermediate level wrist locks, chokes and ground grappling techniques, while also discussing the pro’s and cons of “weapon” use. We’ll also have more of the homemade pepper spray available (just Rs. 30, to cover costs), since people keep asking for them.
Also included as part of the session, is an interactive discussion on the need for “Mentality Training”; this will bring forward the need for an individual to be mentally ready and willing to fight back against an attacker.
Looking forward to seeing everybody this SUNDAY ! “
