Matte Day Look with L’Oreal Paris Cannes Collection, 2015

A matte look is nice on a summer day, especially when you have a nice, pretty shade of pink in hand,
I kept with the theme, and my make up was minimalistic and simple.

Face: Again, a good bit of prep by cleaning my face and applying L’Oreal Skin Perfect Cream was needed before I begun, and the result was pretty simple. I added a little bit of L’Oreal Magic Nude Foundation under my eyes and around my nose to blur out the imperfections and mattify my skin – this foundation sets in quite quickly, and I just wanted a touch of concealing…. no more. So this was my natural choice.

Eyes: A simple warm toned eye shadow was chosen for today’s look. I used Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow shade In the Spotlight, and lined my eyes with L’Oreal Super Liner Gel Intenza in Diamond Black, L’Oreal Kajal Magique and L’Oreal Volume Million Mascara.

Lips: I carefully lined my lips with L’Oreal Color Riche Moist Matte Limited Edition Swarovski Lipstick in Cherry Crush, and lightly filled up my lips. This shade was sent in by the brand, as as its a bit too light for my skin tone when it is applied proper, I decided to blend in the color lightly for a nice, matte day look. One swipe did the trick, and resulted in a nice look which went well with my pretty new top from Zink London (it has a giraffe print. I love giraffes!).

  1. You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation however I to find this topic to be actually one thing which I think I would never understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very wide for me. I am looking forward in your subsequent put up, I will try to get the cling of it!
