Le Trove: A Preview

“Is that rose quartz?”

“Why yes! You do like stones, don’t you?”

“I like rose quartz.”

And that began my conversation with Yatish Somaiya, who owns Le Trove, a brand dealing with luxury silver gifts. For me, silver has always been a point of attraction – I was never much of a gold person, and the combination of an array of stones with silver, as well as pure silver elements, is something I haven’t seen much.

The brand’s aim is to expand and develop a range of products that can be customised easily, and its unique styles can be an ideal gift for an array of purposes. From Diwali gifts to gifts for a baby shower, their store at Quest Mall has a range of products that are rather interesting to look at. They are also an interior decorator’s dream – some of the pieces are unique and really different, customized to suit the modern Indian lifestyle. Some believe that certain stones add to the positive vibes of a place, and that could be seen through the designs which are kept simple, focusing on the fine quality of the silver and stones.

I like the fact that these products can be exchanged or returned easily, and comes with instructions on maintenance which is easy to follow. They also provide a cloth which can help maintain the shine of the products for years to come, apart from the fact that the products are lacquered to resist tarnish as much as possible. The price range is pretty decent – the range starts from INR 4000/- .
