My Review of Lakme Lip Love Lip Care Cocoa:
Cocoa is one of my favourite flavours when it comes to lip balms, so naturally, I was happy to see Lakme adding this flavour (along with grape) to its kitty. These Lakme lip balms come in a simple package, with a clear, transparent top, and is pretty travel friendly. I have been carrying this around in my bag, and its perfectly fine.
There is a dual-core feature, with the outer, coloured layer and the inner, transparent layer, in the lip balm. That sort of reminds me of the Elle 18 lipsticks, and I would have preferred if the reverse was made – how cool would that look? The texture of the Lakme Lip Love lip balm is creamy and it is quite emollient, and one or two swipes over my lips is enough to keep my lips moisturised. It also has a mild chocolate flavour and tastes slightly sweet, so yes, if you are like me, don’t lick your lips, because you are bound to want chocolate afterwards.
The lip balm is slightly tinted, and imparts a lovely, caramel brown colour which is very well-suited to most Indian skin tones. Lakme Lip Love Lip Care Cocoa is sheer and does not have any shimmers or glitters, and can work very well for office or college where you do not want to go overboard. On my lips, it does not truly hide all the pigmentation of my lips, but it does provide a sheer wash of colour which makes my lips look very smooth and lightly shiny. However, the staying power is not very long – barely 2 hours, before you have to reapply, so during the winter, this should be carried with you.
Overall, a good budget tinted lip balm from Lakme which will not break the bank, and has a light bit of pigmentation to keep things interesting. I think its a good product during the upcoming winter season.

I love this shade. The perfect brown for the times when you feel too lazy to put on lipstick.
