My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Powder Foundation Compact
The product is quite easy to apply, and comes with a sponge applicator and a mirror, which makes it convenient to carry. I like the signature rose-gold packaging, which does get dirty from fingerprints, which I am not a fan of. The shades are quite easy to blend in, and gives light to medium coverage. It doesn’t really live up to its matte claim, because after 3 hours I did see my skin becoming slightly oily, but I currently have really oily skin, so that might be forgiven. Thankfully, it doesn’t clog my pores.
The shade Silky Golden suits me perfectly, while Honey Dew is slightly darker, so I might use it if I get a tan. I do like the lighter shade, Ivory Cream, for using on my cheekbones and nose. The price tag is slightly higher than what I would have expected, but overall, a good product to use in the summer months, especially for those with oily skin.
