Lakme CC Cream, or to be more precise, Lakme 9 to 5 CC Color Transform Cream is available in two shades: Beige and Bronze, and is priced at INR 325/- for 30 gm. Its available on several sites online as well as in Lakme counters across India. I was sent both Beige and Bronze colours, and I picked Bronze because the Beige is slightly light on my MAC NC 42 skin tone.
WHAT THE BRAND CLAIMS ABOUT LAKME CC CREAM:
Lakme’s first advanced fairness cream that changes color as you blend, to give a make-up finish. Instantly brightens, conceals, evens skin tone, moisturizes, freshens and protects. This colour changing cream starts like a fairness cream and finishes like makeup to give you skin that looks styled by an expert, everyday.
MY TAKE OF LAKME 9 TO 5 CC COLOR TRANSFORM CREAM:
I have used the Lakme CC Cream which the brand had launched before, and recently liked their 9 to 5 weightless mousse foundation, and I wanted something that would act as a cream as well lightly conceal for a natural look. The Lakme 9 to 5 CC Color Transform Cream comes in a simple tube container which is easy to carry. I carried it around with me on a trip and it was always in my large handbag. I liked the fact that this didn’t leak or separate, which has happened to me before.
You need to squeeze out a few drops of the Lakme CC cream and then blend it into your skin. There are little beads which add colour to the otherwise white cream, and its a good idea to blend it well. I generally use this on days I don’t want to do too much, so after washing my face, I put this on directly. As my skin is currently normal to slightly oily, I don’t really need a cream before this. I have noted that this doesn’t conceal much, but it does blur out imperfections on my skin slightly and gives it a nice, dewy finish, which I then proceed to set with some face powder.
In the photo, I am wearing the Lakme CC cream with my favourite Eyeconic Kajal from Lakme, and you can see that while this doesn’t cover like a foundation, it does add a nice dewy glow to my skin which I like. It doesn’t conceal my dark circles, so you would need to use something as a concealer. Overall, I feel that this is a good product for those who want a light base which contains SPF (this has SPF 30 in it) and which would blur out mild imperfections. There are two shades to choose from – and the Bronze shade is good for darker skin tones.

I have used this cream and found it totally effective as described above. You will definitely see the difference after applying the cream.
