The process of distilling this particular whiskey is pretty intriguing. At first, a list of carefully chosen grain whiskeys and malt-based whiskeys are selected. They are individually matured in casks that were previously used to mature American Bourbon Whiskey. Bourbon Whiskey which is made out of corn has a very distinct and unique set of flavors which is then infused into the grain and malt whiskeys in question through the ageing procedure.
Once this procedure is done, the second stage is to blend the numerous whiskeys carefully together. Once the right blend is achieved by the master blender, then the product goes through a second round of maturing, this time in Oloroso Sherry Butts casks.
The sherry casks add a second round of added flavors and distinctive notes to the whiskey. Sherry, made from white grapes, creates a fantastic layer of flavor, and adds a lot of depth and maturity to the brew of whiskey which is usually quite uncommon in a blend that has been considered to be quite a new, albeit very fine, one. This leads into the development of a unique flavor palette, and it results in unending possibilities for the connoisseurs to enjoy a fine glass of whiskey.
The triple maturing procedure makes Triple Gold Reserve a truly memorable blend. At present, it is available through India is selected stores, and it has been very well-received by the country.
