Himalaya Soothing Body Butter Creams are available in different sizes. These are priced at INR 120/- for 50 ml.
I recently received a package filled with Himalaya products suitable for mothers, and while I am not a mother, I do appreciate the vast range they have – from body butters to nursing care products, as well as toning oils, the range is pretty comprehensive, and great for pampering a friend who is also a mother. I do have a soft corner for their moisturizers, so I was excited to see a range of body butters.
What Himalaya Says:
Himalaya FOR MOMS Soothing Body Butter is a daily-use cream that intensively moisturizes and nourishes your skin, making it soft, supple and glowing. Cocoa Butter soothes dry, irritated skin, and Glycerin keeps skin hydrated for a longer time. Himalaya FOR MOMS Soothing Body Butter contains Vitamin E which protects the skin from damage and irritation and comes in the three calming fragrances of Lavender, Rose and Jasmine.
My Experience with Himalaya Soothing Body Butter Cream
These creams come in tubs and are easy to carry around. They look the same, so I have had the misfortune of grabbing one while thinking of grabbing another. However, after using these for a month on my body, I have realized that they are super-hydrating, and yet, not greasy. I have started to use these on my dry heels and knees, and while these are not overnight miracle products, they do soothe and ensure that the skin is soft, and that’s for all skin types. The smell of Jasmine, Rose and Lavender are extremely nice, and thankfully, they don’t last on your skin for a long time – about half an hour in my case (and if you smell it for longer, then its on you!). These are also great for massaging onto your skin, which means you would have to rub them for an extra minute or so to get absorbed, but that helps in softening the skin more.
I think these are nice and an inexpensive alternative for those who like pretty-smelling, moisturizing body butters, and is great for the winters for all skin types.
