Taj Bengal today took part in the ambitious Goût de France/Good France project that took place worldwide for a unique sensory experience. Chambers at Taj Bengal surrendered to the pleasures of an exquisite French gourmet dinner for its guests as French cuisine was celebrated in various locations worldwide and over a 1,000 chefs on all five continents joined in on the eve of spring.
Taj Bengal rendered homage to the essence of French cuisine, its elements of innovation and to the values that it incorporates: Sharing, pleasure and respect for good food, by proposing a special dinner to its guest. Mushroom medley, Herb and panko crumbed Corn-fed chicken, Chilean Sea bass, Bay of Bengal prawn and Valronha chocolate marquise, ganache and orange are a part of the classy French menu.
From India 48 participants took part, an exceptionally high level of participation which has earned India a coveted 4th spot ranking, after Italy, Japan and Brazil. The event is spearheaded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and renowned chef Alain Ducasse. Good France offers cuisine aficionados in 5 continents a chance to truly appreciate the fine flavours of French cuisine on the same date!
