| ILEX LONDON STORE OPENING |
When it comes to bags, I am a sucker for leather, so when ILEX London invited me to the launch of their new haute range, and their first anniversary at Quest Mall, of course I had to go! The place was pretty packed, with a number of people from the ‘it crowd’ of Kolkata, and I spotted designer Sharbari Datta, Lopamudra Saha Mandal, Neelanjana Chakraborty, and PR Guru Rita Bhimani.

I was, however, looking at the bags. ILEX London’s summer collection contains of bags of all shapes and sizes, and for all occasions. The idea is to choose a bag according to your need and type. There are quite a few different types, and the bags come in all shapes and sizes – from tiny coin purses (so cute!), to large tote bags, perfect for shopping and brunch with your friends.

Each of the collections have a name – and the price generally hover between 4000-20,000 INR Range, and you can check out both men’s and women’s collection here. The products are made of good quality leather, and are quite sturdy, with nice designs. I particularly liked the large, hobo bags, like this orange one, and also some of the smaller, pretty clutches.

ILEX London has a number of super cool color combinations – pretty Mandarin offset with muted ice blue, and jet black, and dark blues perfectly complimented the rather garishly sunny citrus. Bags for different uses – from office to the mall, they have it all.
We were joined by Arpita Chatterjee, who officially inaugurated the event by cutting the pretty bag-themed cake from Paris Cafe. We were also treated to some nice Champagne, White Wine Sangria and other snacks from Smoke House Deli. I did love the pizza they served!
