Also known as Danger Pudding, I first came across this recipe as a child in a book by Lila Majumdar, called “Rannar Boi” where she described the dish in delectable details that made my mouth water. After a Long, Long time, and a lot of experimentation, I came across the recipe again in this site: http://www.davidlebovitz.com/2005/11/dulce-de-lechec/, and I thank David Lebovitz for sharing such a wonderful recipe.
Here is my version, which is down pat from Lila Majumdar. I have used Mithai Mate by Amul, to keep the texture even. The final product looks something like the picture below, and tastes… Heavenly.
