I invited S over to my place to spend the day with my slightly sick self. It was a cold, wintry afternoon, and we were sitting there, chatting after a leisurely lunch, when I suddenly remembered the package I had received from Dove a couple of days ago, and decided to play the guessing game with her.
The game is simple – apply Dove soap on half of your face, and apply a soap from a regular brand on the other half of your face. Then blindfold a friend and ask her to check out which side is softer than the other one.
S was excited about the game, and she put on the lovely pink ribbon over her eyes while I went off to wash half my face with Dove, and use a regular soap on the other half.
Dove has 1/4 moisturizing cream in every bar of soap, making it a decadent, rich soap, perfect for the winter, when skin turns dry and needs nourishment.
S touched my right cheek first, testing that side, and smiled. “This side is nice. Clean, dry. Nice.”
She touched the other side.
“Ooooh!” She exclaimed. “I know this side is Dove. I get the same effect every time I use it on my face.”
