Three perfect little donuts entered the household of the Banerjee family. I picked all-chocolate versions, since the family has a chocolate fixation.
My beautiful sister snatched one up before I could do anything. She mumbled blissful words around it when I asked for an opinion.
It left a gap in the pack.
And I read this and started giggling. And then realized my mother had eaten most of her chocolate sprinkled donut. It was called Goblet of Chocolate (now isn’t that cute!!!!).
She posed for the camera with her half-eaten grub and a perfectly manicured nail.
NOT!
I realized, I still had my Bavarian Bliss.
Before anyone could touch it, I ran away with it.
There was a lot of chocolate, melting over the bread dough, which was deep fried. Mine had a crispy exterior, smooth and dough-y interior, and a lot of chocolate.
Yes, yes, sold. I was.
I have to be frank here. I was not too impressed with the Goblet of Chocolate, which I had on a later date. But the Bavarian Bliss to me was pretty blissful. I have had it about 2-3 times now and I am quite in love with it. And I sort of don’t mind the prices, since the chocolate top is really generous and tasty.
