the very sight of this INSANE cheese sandwich followed by a cup of ultimate hot chocolate is going to put serious weight watchers on a red alert which screams “NONONONONONONONONOOoooooooooo!!!”
However, apart from the fact that this is INDEED the BEST hot chocolate I have ever tasted, not to mention the BEST CHEDDAR CHEESE SANDWICH, this place has SO much to offer… from Frank Sinatra’s lovely low songs to a book or a few if you are alone and want to spend a quiet afternoon without fuss.
This place is in Salt Lake, Kolkata, right near tank no.4, in AD block if I am not mistaken (What you do is go ask anyone about “Bon Apetit” nearby and they shall point you to it). Which basically means its a stone’s throw away from both City Center I and PNB as well as Ultadanga.
The prices are REASONABLE to say the least. My hot choc and sammich set me back about 80-odd bucks, and filled me up for the rest of the afternoon. Just in case you guys don’t understand the beauty of this cheese sandwich, I’d better show you something that is gonna take your gastronomic breath away in another pic. And they also make amazing Laddoo Parathas (Thursday only), Lover’s Eggs (totally, totally dreamy!!), Chocolate Shake (YUM!!!), Coffee (exceptionally thick and creamy foam) and Cheese Parathas (Sunday Only). I’d better show you more pics in the next slot. I am still reeling from this place.
