A few days ago, AVON sent me a pair of Glimmersticks to use. The brand has been consistent in their products, and I like their pricing – generally the Glimmersticks are priced at around 399/- but you get them for less when they are on offer. The two colors sent to me were pretty – one was for the eyes, from the Brights range, and the other one was for the lips – Deep Plum.
The lip liner is dark plummy purple – great for lining my lips and also filling up. Once set, it does not transfer, bleed or flake, and is excellent value for money. It is quite pigmented, and stays on the lips for a good period of time.
The eye liner on the other hand was less pigmented, and had to be swiped a couple of times before the full intensity of the color was reached. Nevertheless, it was still quite prominent on my eyes, and stayed there for around 4-5 hours and did not smudge. It did fade slightly after 4-5 hours, but again, for its price, AVON is a great purchase. You can shop Avon products online now by checking their e-brochure at their website.
